Pro-Core Professional Development
New Client Webinar Series
Pro-Core offers a structured three-session webinar series designed for new clients. These Zoom sessions provide timely, practical training to support effective implementation. Each session includes guided instruction, opportunities for questions, and hands-on practice using participants’ own accounts.
Session 1: Getting Started (1.5 hours)
Recommended timing: After enrollment is complete and prior to administering the first assessment.
Participants begin with a demonstration student login, then access their own accounts to set up initial assessments.
Participants will learn to:
- Use Form Tests and Short Cycle Web Assessments as an integrated instructional tool
- Navigate the system from both student and teacher perspectives
- Explore question types and accessibility features
- Experience instant scoring and preview student assessments
- Manage teacher dashboards and available tabs
- Activate assessments, enable accommodations, and monitor student completion
- Review individual student results and access support resources
Session 2: Assessment Results and Reporting (1.5 hours)
Recommended timing: Shortly after students complete Form A assessments.
This session focuses on interpreting assessment data and applying insights to instruction.
Participants will learn to:
- Set up and use Short Cycle Web Assessments (SCWA)
- Create formative assessments using the Teacher Personalized Assessment (TPA) platform
- Create Questions of the Day to assess daily progress
- Facilitate data-driven discussions using projected questions
- Access and analyze class-level assessment data
- Identify trends and patterns to inform instruction
- Use Pro-Core data to anticipate state assessment outcomes and identify students needing intervention
Session 3: Monitoring Progress Over Time (1 hour)
Recommended timing: Second semester, after students complete a second Form assessment.
Participants will learn to:
- Interpret individual student progress reports
- Analyze class growth reports
- Use longitudinal data to develop intervention plans and set instructional goals for the following school year
