Pro-Core Assessments

Flexible, Standards-Based Online Assessments for Grades 2–12

Overview

Pro-Core Assessments provide flexible, online, standards-based assessments for students in grades 2–12. Schools and districts can select specific subjects and grade levels that best align with instructional priorities and budgetary needs. Pro-Core delivers High Quality Student Data (HQSD) through powerful reporting tools and has been approved by the State of Ohio since 2013.

The Pro-Core system is designed to support both small and large schools and districts by allowing customization at the district, school, grade, subject, or class level. Institutions pay only for the students, subjects, and grade levels they choose.

Assessment Types

Pro-Core Assessments are fully aligned to Ohio’s Learning Standards and Domains and include:

• Diagnostic Pre-Tests (Form A)
• Interim/Formative Assessments (Form B)
• Summative End-of-Course Assessments (Form C)
• Short-Cycle Web Assessments (SCWA) for ongoing progress monitoring
• Constructed Response Assessments with scoring rubrics
• State Test Preparatory Item Simulations, including drag-and-drop, matching, and fill-in-the-blank items

Teacher Tools & Instructional Support

Pro-Core offers robust tools to support instruction and assessment:

• Teacher Personalized Assessments (TPA) created from Pro-Core’s standards-aligned question banks
  • Reusable from year to year
  • Shareable with colleagues
  • Ideal for unit tests and end-of-term exams
• Question of the Day for quick daily lesson checks
• Teacher Grade Book
• Daily and Weekly Reports
• Student Report Cards to send home to parents

Reporting & Data

Comprehensive reports are available immediately after testing and provide insights into:

• Student performance and achievement
• Student progress and growth
• Class and grade-level trends
• Teacher effectiveness
• Common data across subjects and grade levels to inform instructional decisions

Access & System Features

• Fully online access for students, teachers, and administrators
• Integration with Clever and ClassLink APIs for:

Pro-Core Assessments are offered in the following subjects:

• ELA/Reading
• Mathematics
• Social Studies
• Science

Including:

• Integrated Math I, II, III
• Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry
• Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry
• World History, American History, American Government

Schools may select up to four subjects per student in grades 2–12.

Pricing (Per Student, Per Year)

Pricing is based on the number of subjects selected for each student and includes Form A, B, and C Tests, Short Cycle Web Assessments, Teacher Personalized Assessments and the Question of the Day for each subject.
